Summer Time

The weather these past couple of days has been amazing!  It feels like it's spring again and I don't want it to change!  That means I'm outside way more because it's not 100% humidity and 100 degrees outside.  So with the weather being as beautiful as it is, it was time to go outside and take pictures! Yay!!  I chose this romper because the color and pattern goes perfectly with summer.  This is my second romper I have purchased for the spring and summer.  I guess I gravitate towards them more because it's an outfit right away.  So easy to put together!  LOFT  has the best blazers for year round wear.  The one I have with this outfit is linen and white, so yeah, I'll be wearing it year round because it goes with everything.  I apologize in advance if you happen to see it with everything I wear in the near future.

Rainy Days

It seriously looked like it was about to rain so hard when we were taking these pictures.  On top of it looking like it was about to rain, it took a while to get some decent pictures since I'm super awkward and cracking up at myself the entire time.  My awkwardness is probably something that will never change, and I'm okay with that.

This outfit, except for the shoes, is from Cotton On.  The most comfortable clothes you will wear.  I could literally sleep in the pants and the top.  I first fell in love when I ordered a couple of things from their website, hoping they would fit.  They were perfect.  So, this kind of started an obsession.  I mean, who doesn't like to wear soft, comfortable clothes all the time?  Since we don't actually have a Cotton On store in the Atlanta area, I went to one when we were at Mall of America.  I told you that place was heaven.  I got this outfit while we were there and fell in love with the top so much, I got another one.  In a leopard print, of course.  You will probably see it very soon on here.  So, if you are looking for some pieces that can be worn to sleep in and wear out in public, Cotton On is the answer.  You're welcome.  ;)
PS: The pants are supposed to be 3/4 but on me they're normal length pants.  Petite girl problems.

The Comeback

One thing I never thought I would see again, yet alone have in my closet, are these overalls.  I remember the first time I saw them a while back on Pinterest and was so shocked by how absolutely adorable they were.  So, I knew it was a matter of time before I had to have them.  I found these when I was in Minneapolis visiting my sister.  We went to The Mall of America (heaven) and overalls were seriously on a list I made of things I needed while I was there.  I went into an Old Navy store at the mall, and they were just hanging there, only 3 sizes left,  calling my name!  By the way, I can always find something at Old Navy.  Always reasonably priced and up to date with the current trends! These I really loved in particular because of the length...either roll them up or down.  Wear any top with them, some cute flats, sandals, sneakers or wedges, and you are good to go!  Now for some pictures of this outfit shot by the lovely Ashleigh Owens!

First Post!

Hey guys!
So, never thought I would be a blogger, but here it is!  As some of you may know, I have recently decided to start my own business in the world we call fashion.  That word, though, can seem too extreme sometimes.  I like to think of fashion as clothes that we think are pretty, fit right(or how we want them to fit), and is trendy at the time.  One of my favorite quotes is from Coco Chanel; "Fashion fades, only style remains the same."  Finding your style and what you are comfortable in as a woman is probably one of the most important rules when it comes to "fashion".  It doesn't have to be glitter and jewels(I mean, I love all of those things sometimes...or all the time). It can be how you view yourself.  Like when you put something cute on, you can look at yourself and think, "I look great today!".  To me, that's fashion, and ultimately, that's YOUR style.  I think we, as women, can put too much pressure on ourselves when it comes to what we wear. There have been SO many times I walk into my closet and think, "I have nothing to wear". Then I think how ridiculous that sounds because I am very blessed to have what I have. So when I think those things, I do this: mix patterns, colors, textures...and I just have fun with it!  :)

Another part of this blog will be outfit posts.  You can also find these same posts on my Instagram.  If you're not already following me on instagram, you can follow me: @rachelleestyle.  I would greatly appreciate it. :)  Thank you for reading this and for following me on this journey.  I've had so much love and support during this time from so many of you.  Love you all!
