Grey+Black

I admit it. I own a lot of grey and black. It goes with everything! And lately, it has been raining all the time. It's even raining right now as I'm typing this. Not just little showers, we're talking monsoons. Okay, that might have been a little dramatic, but we are having flood warnings, so I was pretty accurate, right? Anyway, the grey and black I'm wearing goes perfectly with this weather (or anytime, really). It actually stopped raining and cleared up for this session! 

This long cardigan is amazing! I love that it actually hits my ankles and isn't a weird, calf length. I got it on sale at Target for 40% off! I bought a couple as gifts for Christmas and one for myself. :) They come in several colors, as well.

So, I came across this website over the past few months, sheinside.com. Amazing prices and cute clothes, but I thought to myself, "what's the catch"? Well, I ordered a few things and fell in love! Great quality and like I said before, such great deals! This dress, for example, was only 10 dollars with free shipping! So cute to wear with leggings, tights or just wear it own its own. Fall Layers

I don't know about you, but I love layering! I love that you can add different pieces from your wardrobe and make an outfit. It makes my wardrobe come alive more! Layering is a must right now since it's pretty cold in the morning and then getting warm towards the afternoon, which is my favorite. Jackets like this one from Lizard Thicket is perfect for this beautiful fall weather we're having. It's not too thick that you can't layer underneath, but you can wear it own its own and stay pretty warm. I'm obsess with it. The color, everything. Definitely going to be on serious rotation this fall.

Cozy Cardigan

It has been so long since I last posted. One of the reasons is because it literally rained for 2 weeks straight. The other reason? Schedule. But that's okay because here's a blog for today and the weather should hopefully keep cooperating so I can do more posts!

Anyway, you guys...this mustard cardigan from Lizard Thicket is the softest piece of clothing I have! Because it doesn't get too cold for a while here, I'll be able to get away with just layering with it and not have to worry about a coat or a jacket. Make a Statement

   I haven't been drawn to necklaces like I had been before. I've just been keeping it simple with earrings or a simple chain, but that's about it. This all changed when I saw this necklace! About a year or so ago, I came across this jewelry site called Bauble Bar and fell in love instantly. It has everything your accessory heart could ever want! I have ordered a couple of things here and there but nothing like this necklace. I've been eyeing this one for a while, and it finally went on MAJOR sale! I snatched it up before it went out of stock and was so proud of myself. Ha! It's currently out on the main Bauble Bar website, but I linked it to Nordstrom where it's unfortunately not on sale. I know it's on the larger side of necklaces that I may have, but that's why I love it! It will definitely be on repeat this fall like this dress will be, especially when it gets cooler and I can wear it with leggings at booties! Come on, Fall!

Stripe Love

    I don't know why, but I always gravitate towards stripes. Black and white stripes to be more specific. It just kind of happens to me when I shop. Even though I have a few black and white tops and dresses in my closet, there's always room for more because each one is different in its own way. Right? 

I got this one I'm wearing from Old Navy. I pretty much had to because it was the first thing I saw AND 10 dollars! I've already worn it a couple of times and it's my favorite. I'm looking forward to layering it for fall! Fall just happens to be my favorite season, but I think I've already mentioned that. ;) 

I thought I would be posting every week, but life happens and things get busy! I really am trying to make this a once a week thing! Thanks to everyone who reads these!!

White Dresses

    A little white dress is just as important to have in your wardrobe along with your little black dress. One important reason? Sometimes it's just too hot to wear black during the summer, which can be hard because I love wearing all black. The struggle is real. This white dress is simple, but I love it because of how much I can do with it. It can be dressy or casual. And it was on sale! Thank you, Old Navy! I paired it with my go to denim vest and flats. It would look super cute with wedges as well.
